After installing the extension, you must change the configuration data of the extension as per your need. During the first installation, the extension itself will generate the default configuration data suitable for most users. You can change those settings here. Most of the fields in this form are self explanatory. We have also added explanations for some of the fields in the same form to make them clear.
To access Yendif Events Configuration :
- Login to your Joomla admin
- Select "Components => Yendif Events => Global Configuration"

Enable Recurring Events | Yes, No | A recurring event is any event that occurs more than once, according to a pre-defined rule: examples are weekly meetings, anniversaries and birthdays. “Yendif Events” makes it easy to add events that happen more than once, like meetings, classes, appointments, or birthdays. Enabling this feature, allows you configure Date Time Periods in the Event adding form. So, when an event is created, multiple instances of the same event are created based on the periodic configuration. “Yendif Events” will automatically open and close registrations for all of your recurring events. |
