Assume you have an event with different fee amounts for Adults and Children. How do you achieve this using Yendif Events? Unfortunately, our event adding forms don’t allow you to do this. But, we can achieve this by playing a little bit with the "Custom FEE field" feature.

Kindly follow the instructions below,

  1. Login to your Joomla admin site.
  2. Go to Components => Yendif Events => Events
  3. Click edit your Event. Select "Discounts & Prices" tab.
  4. Add "0" in the "Individual booking rate" field.
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Then, go to Components => Yendif Events => Custom fields
  7. Click "New" to add a new custom fee field. Add "No. of Adults" in the "Label" field.
  8. Select "Yes" from the "Add Fee" list box.
  9. Now, you must get a "Fee Formula" field below the "Add Fee" field.
  10. Fill in the field as per the description provided. For example, if you want to charge $100 for each adult, then you need to add [FIELD_VALUE] * 100.
  11. Then, Select your event from the "Select Events" multi list box.
  12. Save the changes.
  13. Just follow the same steps (from 6 to 12) and add a separate fee field for Children.
  14. That’s it. Try booking this event from your site front-end. You can see the magic now.
