Here you can add the venue (location/address/map) in where your event occurs. Venues added to this page are automatically added to the venues list box of the event adding form. So, you can create a venue here and add it to your event later in event adding form. We display this venue address in the event detail page (site front-end).

To access Yendif Events Categories:

  • Login to your Joomla admin
  • Select "Components => Yendif Events => Venues"
  • You can Add/Edit/Delete Venues here

General

Name   Name of the Venue.
Alias   The Alias will be used in the SEF URL. Leave this blank and Yendif Events will fill in a default value from the name. You may also enter manually any UTF-8 character. Spaces and some forbidden characters will be changed to hyphens.
Address   Required. Address in where the event occurs.
City   Required. City in where the event occurs
State   Required. State or Region in where the event occurs.
Country   Required. Country in where the event occurs.
Zip Code   Optional. Postal code of the event location.
Phone   Optional.
Email   Optional.
Website   Optional.
Global Location Yes, No When set to “Yes”, any user will be able to use this venue in event adding forms, but not able to edit it still. When set to “No”, only this venue owner can use this venue in event adding forms.
User   A Joomla User who added this Venue.
Map   The system automatically configures the map based on your Address, City, State, Country and Zip Code values. You may also configure the map on your own by adjusting marker.
Publish Yes, No Publication Status.
Language All Language of the venue.
