I like Yendif Login module, but I need the registration URL to be opened exactly as I entered it. As it stands now, Yendif Login Module appends an itemid to the url rendering a blank page.

How can I resolve this?

Thank you, Chuck

I see you've also posted another topic for the issue. "Now, I am getting the Subject error. error : ajax request failed"

I've no clue why you get this issue. Probably a conflict. Kindly send us your Joomla! admin and FTP access details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. So, we can check and fix both the issues.

I have a similar problem in my Joomla 3.8.3 site. For example, when I mouse hover over the "Forgot your password" link I see mydomain/component/users/?view=reset&Itemid=101. Itemid=101 (which is the article pointed to by my Home menu item) is automatically added to the url.
This is probably because the module is not compatible with latest Joomla version. I tested on Joomla 3.6.5 and there it is no problem (Itemid not added), but as stated it is added in joomla 3.8.3.

@Atle Johnsen,

Thanks for bringing this to us. We will have an updated version soon.

As an immediate solution,

1. Open /modules/mod_yendif_login/tmpl/form_login.php
2. Search for,
JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_users&view=reset')
3. Replace it with a complete URL like,
'https://mydomain/component/users/?view=reset'
4. Save the changes and try now.

Thank you for excellent service. :)
I made the changers and it works. I am not sure that it is your module that has a problem, it could come from my template which is rather old.

I think I found the solution.
From Joomla 3.7 and onwards a menu item of the type Users/login form must be created. It does not need to be in the Main Menu - any Menu will do. When this is done the problem is gone :-)
