I setup Yendif Login Form for Joomla recently and it works fine to register new users through social platforms. But I would like to offer an option to existing users who already have a default joomla user account to use social login as well (to replace the default joomla password process on my page by a social service they already use).
It would be nice to login by joomla but than "register" again via oauth to connect the account with the social process, such that if next time the users opens up the website he might login using the social service.
I guess it should be possible by adding a entry to #__yendif_users, right?
Any suggestions to implement this?

Our system already support this.

When an old Joomla user from your site uses our Social options to login, the system automatically checks for the email ID from the social account and map it to the relevant account in your website. So, the same account could be accessed by both Joomla login and our Social Login options.

Great! But it is possible than to deactivate new registering, such that a message will be displayed after social login if no existing account could be found?

Sorry, our current version doesn't have option to do this.

Any suggestion to disable it as soon as the register button is disabled?
It would be awesome to see this feature in future versions!
