Hello again guys I have an even that
lasts from october 2nd to october 31th.

It is not showing. I am guessing because it is an even that started on the second and now it is gone.
I tried "YES" on recurring events but it also will not show.
The recurring settings tab for editing from the event menu the options for editing appear grey and won't let me edit them.

Please help!
Thanx!

1. Yes, you're correct. You must have configured only to display the "Upcoming Events" and our current version only takes the event start date in account. Kindly mail me your FTP access. So, we can make all the active events to display. NOTE : This is already in our TODO lists.

2. You cannot edit "Recurring Settings". Sorry, we have missed to mention this in our tutorials and we will do it immediately.

OK gettin gback to this:
Ok recurring is on thanks

Yet, there's another detail.
In >"Site display settings"-->"Filter events by" there are three options:
1 None
Never turns of any event
2 Upcomming---Turns OFF events when their START date is past.
3 Past
Turns ON events of past dates

How can I make it so the events will turn OFF after the END date is passed? This would let the event show untill its last day.
Maybe setting the "Upcoming" to kill the event after its past date would do the trick?

This will permit an event like a theater show (whick goes for weeks) to be valid and show up while it last and boom, be gone when its passed it last day.

Could also be a good thing for the next upgrade
Let me know what you think please :)

I think, you mis-understood my previous reply. Actually, this is what we fixed for you and we have not set the recurring to ON in edit mode. You can just set the "Filter events by" option to "Upcoming" and it will display all the events that have started after the current time and also the events those have started already and active now(end date is greater than current time). Kindly double check and confirm if this is working for you.

Right on, I was doing something wrong, go it it. It's working good!
...but now it insist that the event is closed! :(
Made a test menu called: "TEST MENU USING CATEGORY (TEST CATEGORY)" you can see it live if you wish otherwise I also add a photo.

Thanks for everything!
